Tim Tebow has traded in Tebowing for tapping, at least for the time being. The New York Jets quarterback has recently incorporated Brazilian jiu jitsu into his off-season regimen, and if you’re going to learn BJJ, who better to teach you than the legendary Gracie family?
Tebow has taken his talents to the new Gracie gym in Torrance, California to learn under Royce Gracie’s nephew, Ryron Gracie (far right). UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub was also lending a helping hand (grey shirt).
“Everyone please give a warm welcome to the newest member of the Gracie Family,” Gracie tweeted. “[Tim] your athleticism/intelligence makes teaching Jiu jitsu even easier!”
Tebow will be looking to make Mark Sanchez submit the starting QB spot to him this season. Ok, that line was kinda corny… #Tebowing
