Pat Healy (pictured) came out with guns blazing by submitting Jim Miller in his big league debut. Well, “Bam Bam” has now been busted for blazing a blunt prior to last month’s win at UFC 159.

Healy confirmed Tuesday evening he’s been issued a three-month suspension for flunking his post-fight drug test on the account of marijuana. The 29-year-old’s impressive victory has also been overturned to a no contest.

“I would like to start off by apologizing to the UFC, Jim Miller, the MMA community, its fans, my family, teammates and coaches for my positive testing for marijuana after my UFC 159 fight with Jim Miller,” Healy expressed in a prepared statement. “I was fully aware of the UFC and state commission’s drug policies and made poor life choices.

“I stand behind the UFC and state commission’s disciplinary actions. I support efforts to make MMA (and sports) a clean, safe and fair place to compete.

“I made a very poor choice to socially use marijuana and now I must face the consequences of that choice. I can assure you that I will do everything the UFC and state commission asks of me and beyond. I will make a conscious effort to be a better role model within the MMA community.”

The New Jersey State Athletic Control Board oversaw April’s event, which took place inside Prudential Center in Newark.

Healy was slated to pocket a total of $130,000 in Fight Night bonuses by beating Miller ($65K for Fight of the Night and $65K for Submission of the Night). The UFC will now hold on to those paychecks.

The former Strikeforce star’s professional record drops to 29-16 (1 NC).

Healy joins the likes of Robbie Peralta, Dave Herman (twice), Matt Riddle (twice), Jake Shields and Nick Diaz as UFC fighters to recently fail their drug screenings because of marijuana.
