UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva

Chris Weidman knows he’s leaving Las Vegas with Anderson Silva’s (pictured) UFC middleweight belt wrapped around his waist, and it appears the Gambling Gods are starting to believe him more and more.

Silva opened as nearly a 3-to-1 odds-on favorite to retain his title this Saturday at UFC 162, but “The Spider’s” line is quickly dipping. Silva is now at -240, the lowest he’s been rated against an opponent since his -140 status against Dan Henderson at UFC 82.

Weidman went from a +210 underdog to +190 in just a matter of days.

It will be interesting to see how the odds continue to fluctuate as showtime approaches.

MGM Grand Garden Arena in Nevada hosts the festivities.

Here are the updated lines for Silva vs. Weidman:

Favorite (-) Underdog (+)

Chris Weidman +190
Anderson Silva -240

Gambling 101:

Bet $100 on Weidman and he’s victorious, you win $190
Bet $240 on Silva and he’s victorious you win $100
