News Channel 7 in South Carolina is reporting that Mixed Martial Arts could be sanctioned by the state as early as tomorrow (Wednesday, May 14th). A bill will be debated on Wednesday by the State’s Senate subcommittee. Why the sudden urge? Ortiz is in the last fight of his current contract, and there is no extension on the horizon, nor does he want there to be. The team over at RawVegas recently spoke to Wanderlei Silva about his upcoming bout with Keith Jardine at UFC 84 as well as what he wants to do after the fight.
