Details for the upcoming UFC video game to be revealed at UFC 84

According to a report on the Firing Squad, THQ officials held a conference call the other day to announce that they are going to be revealing the details regarding the upcoming UFC video game on Memorial Day weekend which happens to fall on the same weekend as a UFC Pay-Per-View. UFC 84 takes places on May 24th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena is Las Vegas and the main event looks like it’ll be BJ Penn vs. Sean Sherk for the UFC Lightweight title. Also on the card is Tito Ortiz vs. Lyoto Machida in what will be Ortiz’ last fight in the UFC.

During THQ’s financial conference call, company execs stated that the first reveal of their upcoming game based on the UFC mixed martial arts sports franchise will be made on Memorial Day weekend, during a big UFC pay-per-view event.
