5thRound Table Forum member “MALIBLOC” gave us the heads up earlier that Affliction has opened up the official website for July 19th’s fight card entitled “Affliction Banned.” The title is obviously poking fun at the fact that Affliction has been banned by both the UFC and EliteXC following their announcement that they were forming their own MMA organization.

Make sure you check out the AfflictionBanned.com website and 5thRound.com as we’ll be following the new MMA organization starting with their press conference on Tuesday of next week.

“Affliction Banned” boasts a main event that has fans excited as the consensus #1 Heavyweight in the world Fedor Emelianenko takes on former UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim “The Maine-iac” Sylvia. The card also has former champion Pedro Rizzo taking on Josh Barnett, as well as other former UFC fighters in Renato “Babalu” Sobral and Matt “The Law” Lindland.

As we reported yesterday, “Affliction Banned” will be available on Pay-Per-View, so if you can’t make it out to Southern California, you won’t be left out in the dark.
