Kimbo and Carano Scheduled for Third CBS Show in October

Youtube legend, Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson, will be fighting on EliteXC’s card on October 4th in his hometown of Sunrise, Florida. It will be the organization’s third promotion with CBS. No opponent has been named to face the undefeated Kimbo.

“Fighting back at home, again, for the second time, is going to be great,” Kimbo stated. “Way more fans this time, way more friends. We’re going to do it again, and hopefully, I’ll pull off another victory … win by another KO and have a bigger party this time. I’m not sure who I’m fighting yet, but I’m looking forward to a hard fight.”

Kimbo, a protégé of MMA legend Bas Rutton, won his last bout two months ago on CBS’s first promotion with EliteXC.

The face of women’s MMA, Gina Carano, will also compete on the October card in South Florida. No opponent has been named to face Carano either, however Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos’s 2ndRound TKO over Shayna Baszler on Saturday night certainly puts her name near the top of the list.
