According to Heavy.com, Brett Rogers (Pictured) has been denied a visa and won’t be allowed to enter Japan to face Tim Sylvia in Dream’s end of the year extravaganza.

Because the former Strikeforce heavyweight was turned away so close to showtime, Sylvia has also been removed from the star-studded card.

Rogers was released from a Minnesota prison on Tuesday after serving roughly two weeks behind bars for beating his wife at their home this past June.

“Da Grim” was originally sentenced to 60 days in the pokey after pleading guilty to felony third-degree assault. The judge credited him for 26 days served and said he would only have to spend about 14 days in jail.

The Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan will host “Dream: Fight for Japan. How Are You! New Year! 2011.” HDNet will broadcast the festivities live in the United States starting at 1AM ET/10PM PT.

Although an official announcement has yet to be made, a heavyweight scrap between Fedor Emelianenko and Satoshi Ishii is expected to serve as the show’s featured attraction.

Here is the card’s current roster:
