The UFC has announced their highly-anticipated return to Montreal, Quebec, Canada will take place in March. Although a specific date and venue were not confirmed, the card’s first bout was reported.
Skyrocketing superstar Rory MacDonald (Pictured) returns from injury to face Che Mills in the event.
MacDonald was slated to face Brian Ebersole earlier this month at UFC 140, but the 22-year-old was forced to withdraw with an undisclosed injury. He owns an impressive 12-1 record, which includes three wins in his first four Octagon appearances.
“Ares'” lone loss during his current run came at the hands of Carlos Condit at UFC 115 when he was stopped via TKO with only seven ticks remaining in their fight.
Mills made quite the splash in his big league debut. “Beautiful” posted a lovely TKO victory at UFC 138 when Chris Cope attempted to block Mills’ knees and fists with his face.
Although very little is known about the UFC’s return trip up north, the Bell Centre in Montreal is the front-runner to host the March 24th show.
