EliteXC Renegade Results: A New Champion Crowned

Strikeforce Lightweight KJ Noons

EliteXC Renegade took place last night and a new champion was crowned when KJ Noons upset UFC veteran Nick Diaz.

Jake Shields and Mike Pyle was originally scheduled to be competing for the welterweight title, but with only 1 fight left on each of their contracts, EliteXC opted not to move forward.

Since then however, Jake Shields signed a long-term deal as we reported yesterday.

Street fighting sensation Kimbo Slice was also on the card.

Kyle Noke def. Seth Kleinbeck by TKO

Jake Shields def. Mike Pyle by Rear Naked Choke

Kimbo Slice def. Bo Cantrell by Rear Naked Choke

KJ Noons def. Nick Diaz by TKO (Doctor’s Stoppage due to cuts) to become the first ever EliteXC 160lbs. Champion.
