Strikeforce Josh Barnett

Although a specific date or venue for the finals of Strikeforce’s Heavyweight Grand Prix has yet to be announced, it hasn’t stopped the Gambling Gods from dropping their two cents on the subject.

For the first time since the tournament began, Josh Barnett (Pictured) will not be a 3-to-1 favorite to dispose of his opposition. The former UFC champion is a slight -155 odds-on favorite to beat Daniel Cormier and take the tourney.

Cormier, on the other hand, checks in just barely behind at +125.

Speaking of hands, Cormier is coming back from the broken right haymaker he suffered in his semifinals win over Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva.

While little is known about the event, the trusty rumor mill is suggesting the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio will host the March 3rd show.
