UFC Mark Hominick

On Tuesday afternoon, a pair of scraps were added to the UFC 145 roster. Former featherweight top contender Mark Hominick (Pictured) makes a quick return to face Eddie Yagin, while lightweight Matt Wiman will also battle Mark Bocek in the March 24th event.

Hominick found himself on the wrong end of a highlight-reel knockout last month at UFC 140. Chan Sung “The Korean Zombie” Jung recorded the second-fastest KO in Octagon history when he put the Canadian down in 6.26 seconds.

Yagin had his two-fight winning streak snapped in his Octagon debut this past September. Junior Assuncao outpointed him for a unanimous decision victory at UFC 135.

Although a venue has not been announced for UFC 145, the trusty rumor mill claims the Bell Centre in Montreal is the front-runner to serve as host.

Here are the athletes slated to appear in the show:

Matt Wiman vs. Mark Bocek

Mark Hominick vs. Eddie Yagin

Ben Rothwell vs. Brendan Schaub

Travis Browne vs. Chad Griggs

Rory MacDonald vs. Che Mills
