As expected, the UFC will be taking their talents to Sweden on April 14th. The world’s most prestigious mixed martial arts promotion made the announcement during Wednesday’s conference call.

The Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm hosts the festivities, while FUEL TV will air the show in North America. There has been no official word if the broadcast will be available for live viewing.

Although no bouts have been confirmed for the roster, including the card’s featured attraction, a welterweight brawl between DaMarques Johnson and John Maguire has been reported by multiple news outlets to be included in the event.

In addition, following last Friday’s quick TKO victory over Vladimir Matyushenko at UFC 141, light heavyweight Alexander Gustafsson (Pictured) expressed great interest in competing in front of his countrymen.

Furthermore, Papy Abedi, David Bielkheden and Per Eklund are all Swedish fighters signed to the UFC.
