After the third delay in releasing information regarding the UFC’s next video game, some light has finally been shed. The game officially has a title now as THQ is calling it “UFC 2009 Undisputed,” and will feature over 80 current UFC fighters. The same developer that has worked on previous WWE video games, Yuke’s, will take on the task of delivering the MMA experience to both the XBox 360 and Playstation 3.
“UFC 2009 Undisputed” was originally announced at last year’s E3 gaming expo and is slated to be released in the the Spring of 2009.
The game will feature a career mode with a create-a-fighter option for those who want to see if they have what it takes to be an Ultimate Fighter.
You can expect an in-depth preview of the game in August’s issue of Electronic Games Monthly.
