The UFC has Georgia on their minds. During Tuesday’s edition of “UFC Tonight” on FUEL TV, the planet’s biggest mixed martial arts promotion announced they will be taking their talents to Atlanta on April 21st.
The event will mark the second Octagon show to hit the ATL. UFC 88 in September of 2008 was the organization’s last card in the city.
Rashad Evans put Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell to sleep in the card’s featured contest. Philips Arena in Hotlanta hosted the festivities.
No word if the Atlanta Hawks’ house will hold the UFC’s followup event. The Hawks don’t have a home game scheduled for April 21st, but they do the day before and after.
The UFC didn’t report any fights for the lineup.
