Vitor Belfort Given Edge After Anthony Johnson’s Weight Issues

UFC Middleweight Vitor Belfort

While most think Anthony Johnson gained an advantage at UFC 142 by coming in 11 pounds over the middleweight limit for a non-title bout, the Gambling Gods have actually given Vitor Belfort (Pictured) the edge heading into tonight’s shootout.

Just two days ago, the 185-pounders were dead even at -115 entering HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Fast-forward just 48 hours and Belfort is now a -130 odds-on favorite to spoil “Rumble’s” middleweight debut.

Johnson, on the other hand, checks in just slightly behind at +100.

Chad Mendes remains a steady 2-to-1 longshot to dethrone featherweight king Jose Aldo in the show’s featured attraction.
