UFC Bantamweight Miguel Torres

Although the UFC was busy hosting their first major show on FX, they still had Georgia on their minds on Friday evening. In addition to announcing a bantamweight brawl between Miguel Torres (Pictured) and Michael McDonald for their Atlanta event, the organization also added several other bouts to the April 21st roster.

Torres owns an impressive 40–4 professional mixed martial arts record and was last seen posting a unanimous decision over Nick Pace at UFC 139.

McDonald has rattled off seven straight victories, with his most recent coming in a vicious knockout of Alex Soto this past November.

The eight other scraps reported today were initially slated to take place on the UFC’s Montreal card. It was expected those bouts would be moved to Atlanta after the company opted to shelve their return to Canada.

Philips Arena in Hotlanta is expected to host the Octagon’s return to the Peach State.

Here is the card’s updated lineup:

Keith Wisniewski vs. Chris Clements

Maximo Blanco vs. Marcus Brimage

Mac Danzig vs. Efrain Escudero

Anthony Njokuani vs. John Makdessi

Matt Wiman vs. Mark Bocek

Ben Rothwell vs. Brendan Schaub

Miguel Torres vs. Michael McDonald

Mark Hominick vs. Eddie Yagin

Travis Browne vs. Chad Griggs

Rory MacDonald vs. Che Mills
