This past October, the UFC announced they had partnered with Cinedigm Digital Cinema to produce live 3D UFC pay-per-view broadcasts in select movie theaters across the country. The two powerhouses will break in their new deal at “UFC 143: Diaz vs. Condit” on February 4th.
The show will be available in more than 100 theaters nationwide. Fans can purchase tickets now at www.ufc.com/3D.
Only the five features fights will be aired live on the silver screen, which starts at 10PM ET/7PM PT.
An interim welterweight title tilt between Nick Diaz (Pictured) and Carlos Condit headlines the festivities. The Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada will host the card.
“I know the fans love 3D, so I’m happy to give them this championship fight live and in 3D in theaters across the country,” UFC president Dana White said. “I cannot wait for this fight between Diaz and Condit to determine the interim UFC welterweight champion.”
