‘UFC on FOX 3’ Fight Card Filling Up Fast

Less than 12 hours after announcing the lightweight shootout between Nate Diaz and Jim Miller would headline their third show on FOX, the UFC has added another scrap to the May 5th lineup.

On Thursday afternoon, a middleweight contest with Mike Massenzio and Karlos Vemola was reported for the event. The 185-pound affair will be a part of the preliminary card, which will likely air on the UFC’s Facebook page or FUEL TV.

Massenzio is probably fighting for his big league life. The 29-year-old has lost two of his three Octagon bouts and was most recently seen last month getting submitted in the 1stRound by Rousimar Palhares.

Speaking of skating on thin ice, Vemola has posted the same record in the UFC. He dropped a unanimous decision loss to Ronny Markes this past August.

IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey hosts the festivities.

Here is the card’s updated roster:

Mike Massenzio vs. Karlos Vemola

John Dodson vs. Darren Uyenoyama

Pat Barry vs. Lavar Johnson

Tony Ferguson vs. Dennis Hallman

Nate Diaz vs. Jim Miller (Five-Round Fight)
