UFC Welterweight Nick Diaz

Once again we’ve gathered the best MMA news from the baddest websites on the ‘net so that 5thRound nation won’t miss a beat! Make sure to check out the links after the jump.

Carlos Condit overcame long odds Saturday night inside the Octagon when he defeated Nick Diaz by unanimous decision en route to winning the interim UFC welterweight title.

He will now go onto face reigning 170-pound king Georges St-Pierre, unless he doesn’t want to wait until the Fall.

It was also learned that Chael Sonnen’s second title defense (er, crack at the title) will take place in Brazil when he and Anderson Silva head down to Brazil in June.
