And then there were eight, as in only 8 scraps that will make up the official “Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey” roster.

Instead of locating a last-minute substitute to replace injured Mike Kyle in his light heavyweight affair against Gegard Mousasi, the UFC’s little brother has decided to yank the bout from the March 3rd event.

According to Strikeforce/Showtime play-by-play announcer Mauro Ranallo, the welterweight brawl between Scott Smith (Pictured) and Lumumba Sayers has been promoted to the main card in its place.

Lightweights K.J. Noons and Josh Thomson will likely be bumped to the night’s new co-main event.

Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio will host the festivities. Women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate defends her crown against Ronda Rousey in the show’s featured attraction.

Showtime Extreme broadcasts the preliminary fights at 8PM ET/PT. Showtime will air the main bouts at 10PM ET/PT.

Here is the card’s revised lineup:

Preliminary Card:

(Showtime Extreme 8PM ET/PT)

Ryan Couture vs. Conor Heun

Caros Fodor vs. Pat Healy

Sarah Kaufman vs. Alexis Davis

Main Card:

(Showtime 10PM ET/PT)

Scott Smith vs. Lumumba Sayers

Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza vs. Derek Brunson

Paul Daley vs. Kazuo Misaki

K.J. Noons vs. Josh Thomson

Ronda Rousey vs. Miesha Tate (Strikeforce Bantamweight Champion)
