Nick Diaz: Diego Sanchez Won and Jake Ellenberger Would be Dead

Here’s a shocker, Nick Diaz (Pictured) disagrees with a decision rendered by the three judges sitting cageside. Although he hasn’t found the time to address his flunked UFC 143 drug test, it didn’t stop Diaz from thumbing out a response to Wednesday’s shootout between Jake Ellenberger and Diego Sanchez on his Twitter account.

Although Ellenberger took the opening two frames rather handily, Sanchez nearly staged a late rally and had “The Juggernaut” bloodied and battered before the final horn blared. After hearing he had dropped a unanimous decision (29-28 on all three scorecards) to Ellenberger, Sanchez even admitted he lost the first two frames.

However, that’s not the way Mr. 209 saw it, homies.

“Diego Sanchez won regardless what the judges think that’s what the fight showed!” Diaz tweeted immediately following the verdict. “Sad night for old Jake E had this been real [expletive] he would be dead!”

I’m not quite sure what “real s***” means, but thankfully Ellenberger is alive and well after collecting his sixth consecutive victory inside the Octagon.

Diaz, meanwhile, is facing a 12-month suspension courtesy of the marijuana metabolites found in his system following his unanimous decision loss to Carlos Condit. It was the second time in five years the former Strikeforce welterweight champ failed a drug test on the account of weed.
