With the addition of the featherweight affair between Dennis Bermudez and Pablo Garza, the 12-bout roster for “UFC on FOX: Diaz vs. Miller” has been completed. The Octagon’s third primetime show takes place May 5th inside IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Bermudez was submitted by Diego Brandao in the finals of “The Ultimate Fighter 14” this past December. He has lost his last three professional bouts, so it’s possible Bermudez will be fighting for his Octagon life.
Speaking of tapout losses, Garza was last seen crying uncle to Dustin Poirier at “UFC on FOX 1.” He had won his two prior big league contests before the November defeat.
A five-round affair between Nate Diaz and Jim Miller headlines the festivities. A welterweight shootout with Josh Koscheck and Johny Hendricks will serve as the co-main event.
UFC president Dana White previously claimed the company’s third foray on FOX may offer four live fights. The event’s top two scraps are solidified, but the bout order for the rest of the lineup is still up for grabs.
Here are the athletes slated to appear in the show:
Louis Gaudinot vs. John Lineker
Dennis Bermudez vs. Pablo Garza
Nick Denis vs. Johnny Bedford
Mike Massenzio vs. Karlos Vemola
Danny Castillo vs. John Cholish
John Dodson vs. Darren Uyenoyama
John Hathaway vs. Pascal Krauss
Tony Ferguson vs. Dennis Hallman
Pat Barry vs. Lavar Johnson
Alan Belcher vs Rousimar Palhares
Josh Koscheck vs. Johny Hendricks
Nate Diaz vs. Jim Miller
