If you thought UFC middleweight Brian Stann (Pictured) did an extraordinary job as an analyst during Wednesday’s “UFC on FUEL TV: Sanchez vs. Ellenberger” broadcast, you aren’t the only one. Stann’s concise and knowledgeable input was so phenomenal that it has landed him a gig on the organization’s future cards on FOX.
“Huge thanks to all the fans who have supported me after the Fuel broadcast, looks like I will be doing the Live Fox shows now, power of fans,” Stann tweeted late Friday night.
In the UFC’s primetime debut, company president Dana White and Brock Lesnar provided analysis with host Curt Menefee. In last month’s follow-up show, UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture and reigning light heavyweight champ Jon Jones joined Menefee at the table.
No need to fret, fight fanatics. Stann’s time inside the Octagon is far from over. The 31-year-old looks to bounce back from a convincing loss to Chael Sonnen when he meets Alessio Sakara on April 14th inside Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
The 185-pound affair will co-headline the UFC’s second event on FUEL TV.
