Although the UFC didn’t host a mixed martial arts event on Saturday night, it didn’t mean the company wasn’t hard at work. The planet’s most prestigious MMA organization announced two bouts to the “UFC on FUEL TV: Nogueira vs. Gustafsson” lineup.
Jason Young (Pictured) was initially scheduled to meet Akira Corassani in the April 14th card, but an undisclosed injury forced Corassani out of the scrap. Young now faces Eric Wisely, who was quickly submitted by Charles Oliveira in his big league debut.
A lightweight contest between Yoislandy Izquierdo and Reza Madadi was the 12th and final fight added to the roster.
Light heavyweights Alexander Gustafsson and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will headline the show. A middleweight tussle with Brian Stann and Alessio Sakara serves as the night’s co-main attraction.
Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden hosts the festivities. FUEL TV will broadcast the show live in North America at 3PM ET/12PM PT.
