After suffering four consecutive losses, welterweight Dan Hardy (Pictured) will look to end his winless drought against fellow slugger Duane Ludwig at UFC 146.
It’s highly possible Hardy will be fighting for his big league career. However, fans thought the same thing the previous two times “The Outlaw” entered the Octagon. Despite his devastating skid, the 29-year-old was granted a reprieve from Lorenzo Fertitta because the UFC co-owner loves guys that “WAR.”
Speaking of skating on thin ice, Ludwig, the owner of the fastest knockout in UFC history, is coming off a 1stRound submission loss to Josh Neer. “Bang” has posted a disappointing 2-3 mark over his last five scraps.
UFC 146 takes place May 26th inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Heavyweight champ Junior dos Santos is expected to defend his freshly-minted crown against Alistair Overeem in the show’s featured attraction.
Here are the athletes expected to perform on Memorial Day Weekend:
Jason “Mayhem” Miller vs. C.B. Dollaway
Dan Hardy vs. Duane Ludwig
Paul Sass vs. Jacob Volkmann
Edson Barboza vs. Evan Dunham
Alistair Overeem vs. Junior dos Santos (UFC Heavyweight Champion)
