Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker has claimed Saturday’s showdown between bantamweight champ Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey is “the most anticipated female fight in mixed martial arts history.”
It’s doubtful the bout will garner as many eyeballs as the Gina Carano vs. Cyborg Santos shootout in August 2009, but Coker is a promoter, he’s supposed to say every upcoming scrap is THE BIGGEST EVER.
Of course, no show would be complete without an official poster. I certainly can’t see too many men complaining about the aesthetic appeal with this particular billboard.
