The Ohio Athletic Commission has medically suspended every contestant that competed in this past Saturday’s “Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey” event. Most were issued a mandatory seven-day ban, but eight athletes will be forced to ride the pine for longer.
Miesha Tate (Pictured), who found her left arm bent in the opposite direction in an armbar submission loss to Ronda Rousey, Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, Roger Bowling and Conor Heun all face indefinite suspensions. Each can return to action once their physicians clear them.
Nationwide Arena in Columbus hosted this weekend’s extravaganza.

Miesha Tate: Indefinite suspension due to left elbow dislocation
Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza: Indefinite suspension due to possible broken hand
Roger Bowling: Indefinite suspension due to possible broken hand
Conor Heun: Indefinite suspension due to possible broken hand
Kazuo Misaki: Suspended 45 days to due a facial laceration
Alexis Davis: Suspended 30 days to due a facial laceration
Pat Healy: Suspended 30 days to due a head laceration
Brandon Saling: Suspended 30 days for precautionary reasons
