UFC Welterweight Jake Ellenberger

If the flyweight rematch between Demetrious Johnson and Ian McCall won’t headline “The Ultimate Fighter: Live Finale” as been heavily rumored, then who will? Funny you should ask.

On Wednesday afternoon, it was announced welterweights Jake Ellenberger (Pictured) and Martin Kampmann will serve as the show’s featured attraction. The 170-pounders will meet in a five-round affair.

Ellenberger is the hottest prospect the division has seen in quite some time. “The Juggernaut” has rattled off six consecutive wins, with his most recent coming last month in a unanimous decision victory over Diego Sanchez.

Kampmann posted his second straight W earlier this month with a remarkable come-from-behind submission over Thiago Alves.

The event takes place June 1st and FX will broadcast the card’s main bouts live. A yet-to-be determined venue in Las Vegas, Nevada will host the festivities.
