WEC 35 to Hold 3 Title Bouts

The WEC has announced their official fight card for WEC 35, which is scheduled to take place on August 3rd at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The event will feature three title bouts, including the main event featuring current WEC Welterweight Champion Carlos Condit taking on Hiromitsu Miura.Not only will this event be available for free on Versus, but it will also be available in HD. Quite a treat for MMA fans.
WEC is looking to ride the wave of momentum that was left after their last event, WEC 34: Faber vs. Pulver, which was their most successful to date.  The event recorded a 1.4 television rating for Versus, capturing 1.54 Million viewers. These numbers demolished their pervious averages of 0.5 television rating and only 485,000 viewers.

WEC’s Light Heavyweight Champ Brian Stann, as well as Lightweight Champion Jamie Varner, will also defend their titles.

Josh Grispi vs. Micah Miller
Damacio Page vs. Brian Bowles
Marcus Hicks vs. Jamie Varner (WEC Lightweight Champion)
Steve Cantwell vs. Brian Stann (WEC Heavyweight Champion)
Hiromitsu Miura vs. Carlos Condit (WEC Welterweight Champion)
