EliteXC Renegade Results: A New Champion Crowned

EliteXC Renegade took place last night and most of the fighters who should’ve won, won. There was one upset thrown into the mix though and there was a new champion crowned in the 160-pound division as Nick Diaz took on K.J. Noons. The fight between Jake Shields and Mike Pyle was originally supposed to be a title fight in the Welterweight Division, but because of their contract status (both with only 1 fight left) EliteXC decided not to move forward with crowning a champion, of course since then Jake Shields extended to a long-term deal as we reported yesterday Jake Shields Signs Long-Term Deal With EliteXC.
