For one reason or another, drama always seems to follow Eric Prindle (Pictured) when it comes to fight time. Although he was slated to challenge heavyweight champ Cole Konrad for his crown this Friday at “Bellator 65,” Prindle has announced via Twitter that a hand injury has forced him to reschedule their appointment.

The 265-pounders will now collide May 25th at “Bellator 70.”

Prindle met Thiago Santos this past November in the finals of Bellator’s Heavyweight Tournament. Their fight was declared a no contest after Santos delivered an accidental illegal blow to his opponent’s groin, which put Prindle out of commission.

They were slated to rematch at Bellator 61, but Prindle had to withdraw at the 11th hour with flu-like symptoms. One week later, Santos missed weight by 11 astonishing pounds and Bellator decided to anoint Prindle as their Season 5 tourney winner.

He took home a $100,000 paycheck and earned next dibs at Konrad’s strap.

Konrad hasn’t been seen since posting a unanimous decision victory over Paul Buentello in a non-title affair this past August.
