According to James Te Huna, the light heavyweight will battle Brandon Vera (Pictured) at “UFC on FUEL TV 4.”
Te Huna announced the 205-pound affair on his Twitter account Thursday evening. The New Zealander has won three of his four fights inside the Octagon and will be riding a two-fight winning streak into the scrap.
His lone blemish in the big leagues came at the hands of skyrocketing superstar Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 127.
Vera was tentatively scheduled to face Thiago Silva in May, but “The Truth” was forced to withdraw after failing to receive medical clearance from his doctor. The veteran was last seen posting a unanimous decision victory over Eliot Marshall at UFC 137.
A specific venue hasn’t been announced for the July 11th event.
