Bellator Fighting Championships will make their 2012 Summer Series debut at “Bellator 71″ on June 22nd. The Mountaineer Casino Racetrack & Resort in Chester, West Virginia hosts the quarterfinals of Bellator’s Summer Series Light Heavyweight Tournament.

“We’ve been in discussions with the team at Mountaineer Resort for quite some time, looking to bring a major nationally and internationally televised event to this spectacular Casino Resort,” Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney said. “When the chance came to host the opener of our Summer Series, we jumped at the chance.”

The eight-man tourney features Marcus Vanttinen vs. Philipe Lins, Rich Hale vs. Beau Tribolet and Roger Hollett vs. Attila Vegh. Travis Wiuff will be assigned his opponent shortly.

MTV2 will broadcast the main card at 8PM ET/PT.
