After a main event for the ages, and some surprisingly good undercard fights, the UFC announced the winners of their post-fight bonuses for UFC 86, which include; “Fight of the Night”, “Submission of the Night” and “Knockout of the Night.” Also, the fighters’ salaries were released for the night’s event.
“Fight of the Night” – Forrest Griffin def. Quinton Jackson via Unanimous Decision. Each fighter earned an additional $60,000 on top of their base fight salary and other undisclosed amounts.
“Submission of the Night” – Cole Miller def. Jorge Gurgel via Triangle Choke. Cole Miller earned an additional $60,000 on top of his base fight salary and other undisclosed amounts.
“Knockout of the Night” – Melvin Guillard def. Dennis Siver via TKO. Melvin Guillard earned an additional $60,000 on top of his base fight salary and other undisclosed amounts.
