The UFC’s Michael Bisping is the source of what could possibly be the worst thing that could happen to “Affliction: Banned.” According to Bisping, “I’ve heard on the grapevine from inside sources that he [Fedor Emelianenko] could be injured.”  Emelianenko, who has long been thought of as the most dominant fighter in MMA history, is scheduled for one of his biggest tests to date on July 19th against former UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia.

Bisping did not disclose what type of injury that he heard Emelianenko may have suffered when he spoke to The Sun.

Emelianenko hasn’t fought since Yarennoka! on New Year’s Eve 2007, where he submitted Hong Man Choi with an armbar.

Sylvia is coming off of a loss against current UFC Heavyweight Champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira at UFC 81 back in February.
