“UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen II” is arguably the most star-studded lineup in the history of ever, so it’s only fitting the event’s main card showcases six fights instead of the standard five.
MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada hosts the July 7th festivities.
The highly-anticipated rematch between middleweight king Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen headlines the shindig. A trilogy with bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber serves as the show’s co-featured attraction.
Additionally, Tito Ortiz’s final UFC fight when he meets Forrest Griffin, a middleweight shootout between former champ Rich Franklin and Cung Le, a 185-pound bout with Michael Bisping and Tim Boetsch, as well as Demian Maia’s welterweight debut against Dong Hyun Kim will all appear live in the pay-per-view broadcast.
