UFC Bantamweight Urijah Faber

Not to be outdone by Chael Sonnen, UFC bantamweight top contender Urijah Faber (Pictured) will be releasing “The Laws of the Ring” on May 22nd. Uncle Chael launches his book exactly one week before Faber’s hits store shelves.

In “The Laws of the Ring,” Urijah relates how he has made a successful career out of a highly demanding sport. Even outside the cage, his passion for fighting motivated him to open his own fitness center, create a sports clothing line, lead a fight team and coach up-and-coming athletes in “The Ultimate Fighter” reality show.

Furthermore, “The California Kid” shares the life lessons he’s learned along his unconventional path, drawing from personal experience to give readers a sense of life inside the Octagon and show how to take those lessons into their own worlds.

Fans can pre-order the hardcover on Amazon for $17.14.

Faber now joins the ranks of Sonnen, Forrest Griffin, Randy Couture, BJ Penn, Matt Hughes, Chuck Liddell, Brock Lesnar and Tito Ortiz as UFC fighters to have released a book.

As for his day job, Faber is scheduled to challenge Dominick Cruz his 135-pound crown at UFC 148.
