UFC Heavyweight Travis Browne

Early Tuesday morning, a heavyweight shootout between Travis Browne (Pictured) and Ben Rothwell was added to the ‘UFC on FOX 4‘ roster.

Both 265-pounders are coming off devastating victories at UFC 145. Browne continued his torrid ascent up the totem pole with an easy submission win over Chad Griggs. “Hapa” is unbeaten in 14 professional bouts, although he did post a draw against Cheick Kongo at UFC 120.

Rothwell has alternated between wins and losses over his past seven contests. The veteran served up an upset special nine days ago by putting Brendan Schaub to sleep in the opening round of their tango.

The vicious performance earned Rothwell ‘Knockout of the Night’ honors.

The organization is still looking to secure a venue to host the August 4th festivities, but the show is expected to take place somewhere in Los Angeles, California.

Still no word on who will headline the card. As of right now, the middleweight scrap between Octagon rookie Hector Lombard and Brian Stann is currently receiving top billing.

Here are the athletes slated to perform in Southern Cali:

Joe Lauzon vs. Terry Etim

Travis Browne vs. Ben Rothwell

Lyoto Machida vs. Ryan Bader

Brian Stann vs. Hector Lombard
