According to TMZ.com, UFC featherweight Ross Pearson (Pictured) was arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada early Sunday morning on suspicion of DUI. The celebrity gossip website reports Pearson was pulled over around 4AM after the LVPD noticed his car swerving on the road.
The 27-year-old was asked to conduct a field sobriety test, which he allegedly failed. The Brit was immediately taken into custody.
“The Ultimate Fighter 9” winner has since been released. Pearson has made several posts on his Twitter account since the incident, but has not alluded to what went down over the weekend.
Pearson is currently in Vegas serving as an assistant coach for Dominick Cruz on “The Ultimate Fighter: Live.”
He was last seen taking a unanimous decision victory over Junior Assuncao at UFC 141. The December contest marked “The Real Deal’s” 145-pound debut after moving from the lightweight class.
Pearson is scheduled to battle Cub Swanson June 22nd at “UFC on FX: Maynard vs. Guida.”
