And then there was one. As in only one title fight that will take place at UFC 148 after the organization reported Monday that a knee injury has forced bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz (Pictured) out of his trilogy against Urijah Faber.

“Im bummed people,Thanx 4 the support as i battle this, big sorry to all the fans out there!I WILL recover n I WILL b back 2put on a show!” Cruz tweeted following the announcement.

No word on what the UFC has in store for Faber.

Cruz and Faber are currently serving as opposing coaches on “The Ultimate Fighter: Live.” The bitter rivals were scheduled to collide July 7th, one month after filming wrapped on the reality show.

Faber took their first meeting at WEC 26 via submission to defend his featherweight title, but Cruz knotted up the score by winning a unanimous decision at UFC 132 to retain his 135-pound crown.

MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada hosts the extravaganza. Middleweight king Anderson Silva headlines the pay-per-view broadcast opposite Chael Sonnen.

Here is UFC 148’s revised roster:
