Less than an hour before fighters tipped the scale for “UFC on FUEL TV 3,” the organization managed to find the time to announce a light heavyweight scrap between Phil Davis (Pictured) and Chad Griggs for “UFC on FOX 4: Stann vs. Lombard.”

After posting an unblemished record through his first nine professional fights, Davis looks to bounce back from a lopsided unanimous decision defeat to Rashad Evans. “Mr. Wonderful” was rebounding from a knee injury that kept him on the pine for eight months prior to January’s outing.

Griggs will be dropping to the 205-pound division after getting submitted by Travis Browne in his big league debut. The former Strikeforce heavyweight had finished his six previous opponents before last month’s loss.

The organization is still looking to secure a venue to host the August 4th festivities, but the show will take place somewhere in Los Angeles, California. Staples Center, home of the Los Angeles Lakers, is the front runner to land the gig.

FOX will broadcast the main card live beginning at 8PM ET/5PM PT.

Here is the event’s updated lineup:

Oli Thompson vs. Phil De Fries

Matt Mitrione vs. Rob Broughton

Joe Lauzon vs. Terry Etim

Phil Davis vs. Chad Griggs

Travis Browne vs. Ben Rothwell

Lyoto Machida vs. Ryan Bader

Brian Stann vs. Hector Lombard
