The lineup for “Bellator 70” has been finalized. The May 25th event features a heavyweight title tilt between champion Cole Konrad and Eric Prindle.
Konrad has been riding the pine awaiting his next assignment since posting a unanimous decision victory over Paul Buentello in a non-title affair this past August.
Prindle secured his shot at the throne by default after fellow Season 5 finalist Thiago Santos failed to make weight for their matchup.
The 265-pounders were expected to collide this at “Bellator 65,” but a hand injury forced Prindle to postpone their shootout.
In addition to the championship affair, the card will also showcase the semifinals of Bellator’s Bantamweight Tournament between Luis Nogueira and Hiroshi Nakamura.
Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana hosts the festivities.
MTV2 will broadcast the main card at 8PM ET/PT.
