Have you ever heard of Dan Quinn? Neither had UFC president Dana White (Pictured) until last week when the former mixed martial artist threatened to end White’s life.
According to TMZ.com, Quinn has produced YouTube videos threatening MMA’s head honcho for several years, but the situation escalated after Quinn got a hold of White’s private work number and left numerous disturbing messages.
In addition to claiming he would blow up White’s offices in Las Vegas, Nevada, Quinn also professed he would put a bullet in White’s head.
“I just want you to know, since you’re bringing that to me, you should be worried about your own safety, bitch,” Quinn reportedly stated. “I’m gonna shoot you right in the head mother[expletive].”
Things got even creepier when a man speaking in an Irish accent – who is presumably Quinn, but goes by the name “Paddy O’Neill” – makes several more threats on White’s safety.
The LVPD are in possession of the voicemails and are currently investigating the situation.
Quinn owns a 5-7 professional record and was last seen dropping a TKO loss to Rick Vardell at “Gladiator Challenge: Impulse.” The November 2010 outing marked his third consecutive defeat.
The heavyweight’s most notable opponents were former UFC champion Frank Mir and Jason Lambert. Quinn lost to both fighters while competing in smaller organizations.
