Now that “Strikeforce: Heavyweight Grand Prix Final” is officially yesterday’s news, let’s take a look at what the card’s featured fighters had to say about their respective scraps.

Heavyweight Grand Prix finalist Josh Barnett did not attend the post-fight press conference and was unavailable for comment following his lopsided unanimous decision defeat to Daniel Cormier (Pictured).

As the old adage goes, “Looks can be deceiving.” Although Josh Thomson seems no worse for wear and lightweight champ Gilbert Melendez definitely appears to have been involved in a 25-minute war, it was Melendez who left San Jose with a victory last night.

HP Pavilion in California hosted Saturday’s shindig.
