The UFC officially announced today, Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou, will make his UFC debut against unbeaten Lyoto Machida (11-0-0).
It’s been quite the roller coaster the last few months for former PRIDE star Thierry Sokoudjou (4-1-0).
“The African Assassin” doesn’t have the longest resume under his belt, but like Houston Alexander, he holds some impressive knockouts.
He shocked the MMA world back at PRIDE 33 when he knocked out then top 10 light heavyweight Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
Sokoudjou followed that up with another KO over Nogueira’s teammate Ricardo Arona.
Most recently it was believed Sokoudjou would head back to Japan and fight for K-1 HERO’s.
