Here is the play-by-play from Velasquez vs. Silva:

Velasquez caught a kick and trips him to the canvas. He’s bringing the pain early, but Silva fends him off with an up-kick. Velasquez continues his ground attack and grazes him with a short elbow that causes blood to gush from the Brazilian’s mug. Time is called to have the doctor examine the cut. Game on and they resume where they left off, Cain on top. Silva is having major issues with his vision. THERE IS BLOOD IS EVERYWHERE. Velasquez is giving him the business and the fight mercifully comes to an end.

Official Result:

Cain Velasquez Defeated Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva via TKO (Strikes) at 3:36 in the 1stRound
