It might not be the bantamweight title fight that was supposed to co-headline UFC 148, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be a betting line for the scrap. Despite the switcheroo, Urijah Faber still isn’t expected to leave Las Vegas with a belt wrapped around his waist.
Champion Dominick Cruz was forced to pull out of his trilogy with Faber after tearing his knee, which allowed Renan Barao to serve as substitute on July 4th.
Barao is a slight -170 odds-on favorite to capture the interim title. Faber, on the other hand, comes in just behind as a +140 underdog.
MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada hosts the shootout.
