“UFC on FX: Johnson vs. McCall II” took place Friday inside BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida.

Demetrious Johnson (Pictured) punched his ticket to the flyweight finals after punching Ian McCall in face. While their initial tango was covered in controversy, Johnson left no doubt last night as he used his speed and footwork to take a unanimous decision victory over “Uncle Creepy.”

Erick Silva continued his ascent up the welterweight totem pole by quickly disposing of Charlie Brenneman with a rear-naked choke in the opening round of the card’s co-featured attraction.

According to UFC president Dana White, 6,635 fans packed the arena, garnering a live gate of $329,110.

White claimed the attendance “sucked.” He admitted it’s hard selling MMA tickets in Florida.

It was announced Junior dos Santos vs. Cain Velasquez II will headline UFC 152 in Toronto.

BJ Penn vs. Rory MacDonald will serve as the card’s co-featured attraction.

White reiterated that he’s not sold on women’s MMA. He loves Strikeforce bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey, but there are not a lot of girls at her level.
