On Monday morning, the UFC announced they will be taking their talents to Nottingham, England on September 29th. Capital FM Arena hosts the festivities.
“We are very excited to be going to Nottingham for the first time,” UFC managing director of international business Marshall Zelaznik stated. “Some of the biggest names in British mixed martial arts are from Nottingham, and the fans have been campaigning for us to bring a fight here for years. The U.K. fans are among the most passionate UFC supporters on Earth, and this is going to be a special night.”
A bantamweight bout between Brad Pickett (Pictured) and Yves Jabouin, as well as a lightweight scrap with Andy Ogle and Akira Corassani were confirmed for the show.
UFC president Dana White recently mentioned Dan Hardy and Paul Sass could also participate in the event. Both Brits were victorious at UFC 146.
The Octagon’s return trip across the pond will air live on FUEL TV in North America.
